Prescription Disposal at Teutopolis Village Hall

By Anonymous Teutopolis Press-Dieterich Gazette Posted Aug 24, 2011 @ 09:55 AM The P2D2 program has come to Teutopolis. If you have old prescription medication/pills you wish to dispose of safely, bring the bottles to the Teutopolis Village Hall where you will find a bright yellow prescription drop-off box marked P2D2. All non-controlled, non-hazardous medications, vitamins/supplements, homeopathic remedies, creams, oils, ointments, suppositories, and pet medications can be dropped into the P2D2 drop box for disposal. The program called P2D2 stands for Prescription Pill and Drug Disposal and was started in 2007 in Illinois to help keep prescription medicines out of our waterways. The Teutopolis drop-off box, located in the Teutopolis Village Hall, can be accessed during their office hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00am-4:30pm; and Tuesday and Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm.
